Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ClipAlytics is operated by AE Labs Inc, a Delaware corporation (“AE Labs Inc,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use clipalytics.com, the ClipAlytics browser extension, and related services. It should be read with our Terms of Use.

2. What we do not collect

ClipAlytics never asks for a marketplace password, never holds a marketplace session token or cookie, and never stores media or thumbnails from those sites. We do not store the full text of social posts we match.

3. Information we collect

• Account data. Email address, display name if you provide one, and authentication identifiers from email/password, Google, or X sign-in.
• Studio data you send. Public store URLs, catalogue metadata, and numeric sales facts from email forwards, CSV, the browser extension, or an authorized connection.
• Authorized storefront connections. Subscription-storefront connections go through a hosted third-party provider. You authenticate on that provider’s pages. We store a Connection ID, profile handle, and numeric earnings events — never a storefront password or session cookie.
• Browser extension. The extension runs only on allowlisted creator-dashboard URLs you enable and shows you the exact payload before it is sent. It reads numeric dashboard fields (prices, ranks, earnings totals), not passwords, images, or messages.
• Benchmarks. Sales amounts are stored as integers so we can aggregate opt-in benchmarks. Buyer identifiers are HMAC-hashed with a server pepper and are not reversible. Cohorts with fewer than 10 contributors are suppressed.
• Social matching. Posts from Bluesky and X are matched in memory. We store engagement counts, self-labels, matched category terms, hashtags, outbound store URLs, and a hash of the body — not the post text. X data, when present, comes from a third-party provider and is not an official X integration.
• Public market observations. Category and listing signals collected from public marketplace pages, as described in our methodology. These are not tied to your account unless you connect a matching store.
• Usage and diagnostics. Device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and error logs. Payment status is processed by Stripe; we store subscription state and related identifiers, not full card numbers.

4. How we use information

We use this information to operate ClipAlytics: authenticate you, show market maps and overlays, send transactional email, process subscriptions, improve accuracy and reliability, prevent abuse, and communicate about the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, database, email, payments, authentication, error monitoring, and product analytics). They may process data only on our instructions. We may also share information if required by law, to protect AE Labs Inc or users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. Opt-in benchmarks are published only as aggregated, suppressed cohort statistics — not as your identifiable sales ledger.

6. Cookies and similar technology

We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the Service. Product analytics may use a privacy-oriented provider that does not rely on advertising cookies. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; the Service may then have reduced functionality.

7. Retention

We keep account and studio data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as needed for backups, billing, and legal obligations. When you delete your account we delete or irreversibly de-identify personal data we no longer need, including retracting your benchmark contributions.

8. Your choices

You can update account details in the app, disconnect storefronts and social accounts, and request a copy or deletion of your data. Account deletion and benchmark retraction are available at /api/account/delete or by emailing hello@clipalytics.com. Depending on where you live (including California and the EEA/UK), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

9. Children

The Service is for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact hello@clipalytics.com and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

AE Labs Inc is organized in Delaware, United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
